Vide notification number S.O. 5321 (E), dated 21st November, 2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii), all the provisions of the said Code have been brought into the force

The following draft rules, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 99 of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (35 of 2020) read with sub section (2) of the said section and read with section 24 of The General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897) in supersession of the-

(ii)  The Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957; and 

(iii) The Industrial Employment  (Standing Orders) Central Rules, 1946

Vide notification number S.O. 4604 (E), dated 18th December 2020 and S.O. 5322 (E), dated 21st November, 2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii), all the provisions of the said Code have been brought into force;

The Government of India has implemented the Code on Social Security, 2020 w.e.f. 21st Nov., 2025 and repealed the ESI Act, 1948. (You are requested to kindly refer to the Gazette Notification dated 21/11/2025 and on
